According to French newspaper the Mercato, Chelsea could be interested in PSG’s Gregory Van der Wiel.
The article explains how the Dutch international has not lived up to expectations in the French capital, often being overlooked by players like Christophe Jallet, Serge Aurier or Marquinhos.

Apparently PSG would be willing to offload the Dutchman this January, with Inter Milan supposedly highly interested in the defender. There has also been reported Chelsea interest in the past, but no public offer had been extended.
Overall, the Blues would be best to steer clear of Van der Wiel. Despite Ivanovic’s struggles during this campaign, they are better off without the 27-year-old. Surely Mourinho cannot think that Van der Wiel is the answer to Chelsea’s right back vacancy.
There are better options that Chelsea can move for, including Everton’s Seamus Coleman.

Mourinho could also go after a more experienced left back, who would perhaps be better suited to start over Baba Rahman. The Blues could then move Azpilicueta over to right back, and perhaps bring a player like Tomas Kalas or Kenneth Omeruo home to deputise that side of the pitch.
