According to the Daily Mail, Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain has no intention of leaving his current team anytime in the near future. The news comes from his agent (also his brother), Nicolas Higuain, who was quoted in TuttoNapoli.net.
We’re doing really well with Napoli, I’ve been in Argentina for five months, I’m not travelling around the world trying to sell my brother.
He goes on to remind potential suitors that the owner of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, values the striker at €100million (£70m). This is a steep price, even for a striker of the Argentinian’s ilk.

However, he didn’t completely rule out a potential move, should the president’s valuation be met.
If tomorrow a club arrived and found an agreement with De Laurentiis, it would be another matter and we would talk with him about it, but from our part that intention isn’t there. We aren’t planning a future elsewhere.
Overall, Higuain would be a welcome addition to Mourinho’s squad. Whether he would play alongside Costa, or if it would elicit an outgoing move for the struggling Spaniard is anyone’s guess.

Regardless, Chelsea need reinforcements, especially at the striker position. The Argentinian is in good form in Italy, and it would be interesting to see if he could replicate that form in the Premier League, preferably at Stamford Bridge.
