Chelsea are reportedly interesting in bringing in Christian Benteke on loan in January.
Benteke has failed to live up to his £32.5m price tag this season and has dropped down the pecking order after the arrival of new boss Jurgen Klopp, with Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino often being favoured to the Belgian.
Interim boss Guus Hiddink has already identified that Chelsea’s lack of goals is an issue, and Benteke could be his solution to that dilemma.

Benteke joined Liverpool from Aston Villa, having scored 49 goals for the Midlands team. It made Benteke the second most expensive player signed by Liverpool, behind now West Ham striker, Andy Carroll. He has made 16 appearances for Liverpool, netting himself five goals.
Since the sacking of Brendan Rodgers, new boss Jurgen Klopp has given Benteke only two starts, and eight appearances from the bench.
Chelsea currently sit 15th in the Premier League, four points above the relegation zone.
