Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has told his players that they ‘don’t have a chance’ in this weekend’s FA Cup final if they put in a similar performance to the one at Newcastle United yesterday.
The Standard write the Conte was not happy with his players following the match and knows that a drastic improvement is needed against Manchester United at Wembley.
The Blues needed to beat Newcastle to have any chance of making the top four but looked short of ideas as the hosts ran out 3-0 winners.
The result means Chelsea finish the Premier League fifth with 70 points, and will play Europa League football next season.

After the match, Conte said
For the next game, for sure we must change. If we think we can play a game like this in the final of the FA Cup then we don’t have a chance. We have six days to change our approach and desire and will to fight… Our fans deserve more than today.
Speculation over Conte’s future has been rife in recent weeks, with the Italian reportedly keen to leave the club following a number of well-publicised rifts with the board.
Should the 48-year-old leave, Maurizio Sarri, Luis Enrique, Massimiliano Allegri and Julian Nagelsmann have all been linked with the post.
The Blues will be hoping to lift their eigth FA Cup on Saturday to end a disappointing campaign on somewhat of a high.
