Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is emerging as a transfer target for Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, who are thought to be ending their interest in Michy Batshuayi.
According to Kristof Terreur, the Bundesliga outfit are no longer pursuing a deal for Batshuayi, but could now move for Morata, who is being linked with a move away from Chelsea.
Both AC Milan and Juventus have been linked with moves for the Spaniard, who struggled during his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi spent the second half of the season at Dortmund, where he impressed with an inspired run of form.
His performances in the Bundesliga talked up the possibility of a permanent move, but Dortmund are likely to see themselves priced out of a deal.
It is yet to be seen if Chelsea will look to keep Batshuayi next season after the Belgian fell out of favour under Antonio Conte.
Chelsea have played down reports about Morata’s future, but they themselves continue to be linked with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, who has been discussed as a possible replacement for the Spaniard.
