Chelsea target Suarez hints at potential Barca exit
Chelsea target Denis Suarez has hinted that he could seek a move away from Barcelona if he continues to be restricted to a sporadic role.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a departure from Camp Nou in recent months, with Barca boss Ernesto Valverde opting to utilise other options on a more regular basis.
Suarez has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season, prompting claims that Chelsea could make a move for him in the January transfer window.
As quoted by Spanish news outlet Marca, the 24-year-old was quizzed on his plans for the immediate future. He was coy when discussing his position at Barcelona and said:
I work to play and I’m not having minutes. If I do not play… we’ll see.
Chelsea are well stocked with midfield options but have seen several of their players linked with January exits.
Cesc Fabregas’ contract with the Blues comes to an end following the current campaign and Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Danny Drinkwater have both been reportedly eyed by potential suitors.
