Watford manager Javi Gracia has revealed his side will be focusing on all of Chelsea’s attacking options on Sunday afternoon, insisting Eden Hazard will not be the only threat from the Blues.
The Belgian played the final 30 minutes for Chelsea in their Europa League semi final first leg on Thursday, with Maurizio Sarri choosing to start the winger on the bench to rest him ahead of Sunday’s clash with Watford.
And Gracia believes that while Hazard is still a big threat for the Blues, the Hornets will be focusing on Chelsea as a whole rather than just the Belgian on Sunday, the Independent report.
I prefer to speak about the whole team. We play against Chelsea – not only Hazard. In the first game he played as a striker and now I think he will play as a number 10.
We know we have to defend well when he has the ball as he is always able to do something different. We always have to have a collective mentality to defend and to attack.
Sarri’s side host the Hornets looking to maintain their push for a top four finish in the Premier League, and victory over Watford combined with defeat’s for Arsenal and Manchester United respectively would guarantee the Blues fourth place.
Hazard bagged a brace against Watford when the two sides met on Boxing Day earlier this season, scoring his 100th Chelsea goal in the 2-1 victory.
