Napoli to demand €40m for Hysaj

Napoli are set to demand €40m for Chelsea transfer target Elseid Hysaj this summer.

According to Tuttosport, via The Mirror, Napoli have named their price for the right-back amid interest in his services.

The report claims that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are both interested in a deal to sign him ahead of next season.

Maurizio Sarri worked with Hysaj at Napoli and could now be looking for a reunion at Stamford Bridge next season, as the Italian goes about strengthening his squad.

Hysaj joined Napoli from Empoli in 2015 and has made 173 appearances for the club in all competitions to date, but is yet to score his first competitive goal.

Tuttosport do claim, however, that his €40m price tag is proving to be a stumbling block at this moment in time, with Atletico and Chelsea seemingly not prepared to pay it.

Chelsea are unable to commit to any signings until they discover the fate of their ban this summer. The club have been hit with a two-window ban, which could be starting in the current window.
