Chelsea are reportedly very keen to offload unwanted striker Loic Remy, due to his high wage bill, which the Blues want to set aside, according to a report covered by Sport Witness.
The 30-year-old is reported to be wanted by Premier League rivals Watford, Everton and Southampton, as well as Serie A outfit Lazio and former club Marseille, who could provide stiff competition for the striker’s signature.
Chelsea signed Remy back in 2014, for £11.2 million, and his career at Stamford Bridge has gone downhill ever since. He made 32 appearances in Chelsea colours, bagging eight goals, including one on his debut against Swansea City.
Last season, he spent his time on loan at Crystal Palace, however an injury heavily restricted his playing time, and he only played eight times for the Selhurst Park side.
The Frenchman is reported to be on a very high wage at Stamford Bridge, despite his lack of game time, meaning Antonio Conte is keen to get rid of Remy, so that this money can be spent elsewhere.
