Highly-rated Athletic Bilbao striker Gorka Guruzeta has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Premier League in 2018 but it appears as if one team has emerged as the front-runner to secure his signature.
Chelsea are among a host of clubs with an eye on the 21-year-old but their London rivals Tottenham are leading the Blues along with Arsenal in the race to sign Guruzeta.
Despite having not made an appearance for Bilbao’s senior side, Guruzeta has scored 10 goals in his last 20 games for Bilbao’s youth side in Spain’s third tier.

A number of Premier League scouts were in attendance when Guruzeta’s Bilbao took on the Manchester United U23 side last week as they continue to consider a transfer move.
Valued at £20m by Bilbao, Guruzeta becomes a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires and clubs can begin negotiating with the youngster from January. It’s believed that Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea are all weighing up offers.
