Batshuayi keen to extend stay at Dortmund
Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi who is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund in Germany as admitted that he would be keen to extend his move to the Bundesliga beyond the current season according to Sport Witness.
He scored five goals in his first three games which led to talk that the player will extend his stay at the club following the conclusion of the current loan deal.
The Belgian continued his goalscoring run at the weekend as he netted twice in his sides 3-2 to win over Frankfurt whilst also claiming the man of the match award after coming on as a sub.
The striker seems much more content at the German club being afforded many more opportunities in the team than that were on offer at Chelsea earlier in the season.
Fellow teammate Marco Reus has highlighted his desire for tBelgiangan to remain at the club beyond his current loan contract.
The striker spoke about his current situation and how he feels about it:
I feel very good here, but that’s a matter between Dortmund and Chelsea.
That’s a sure hint he’d be up for a move, which would only be further underlined if Chelsea don’t envisage a key role for him next season.
Nothing is yet to be confirmed with the talks between the two parties set to be left until the conclusion of the season whilst Chelsea assess their options.
