Aston Villa are reportedly looking at a potential way of keeping on loan Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, according to the Daily Mail.
Since joining Villa over the Summer, Abraham has been immense for the Championship side. He leads the scoring charts for the Villans, and has been a vital cog in Villa’s promotion push.
However, the loan deal only runs until the end of the season, and Villa are desperate to keep hold of the forward.
Villa gaining promotion to the Premier League would obviously help any potential extension to Abraham’s deal, but Chelsea’s potential transfer ban looming, any transfer may be off the table.
Abraham may be forced to return to the Blues so that Chelsea have enough depth, which would halt any Villa return.
However, with RB Leipzig reportedly ready to make a bid for the striker, Villa may have competition for the striker’s signature.
