There are all sorts of rumours doing the rounds about the Xabi Alonso situation right now. Some claim that he has held positive talks with Chelsea and is interested in the role. Others say that he is on the shortlist but nothing is advanced. And then there are even suggestions that the club would prefer […]
It is safe to say that Chelsea need to strengthen their squad significantly in the summer transfer window. The reports coming out in the media over the last couple of months have suggested that BlueCo are ready to tweak their transfer strategy. They will look to add some ‘ready-made’ players to the Blues’ ranks. It […]
Right now, BlueCo should be trying to find the right long-term manager for Chelsea. They must have thought that Liam Rosenior was the man for the job. Otherwise, there was no real point in handing him a six-and-a-half-year contract when he joined from Strasbourg in January. That was a statement more than anything else. Well, […]
There has not been much to be positive about when it comes to Chelsea. But amid all this, one player who has stood out even amid another disappointing campaign is Joao Pedro. Signed in the summer from Brighton & Hove Albion, many eyebrows were raised at the idea of bringing in someone with just 10 […]
There is little doubt that Xabi Alonso is one of the best options out there, if not the very best, when it comes to the choices available to Chelsea for their next managerial appointment. For the last four seasons, they have constantly invested in youngsters. And while some of them might be very good players, as a team, it just has not clicked yet. A […]
Chelsea could do with someone like Noni Madueke right now. The Blues’ options on the flanks are paper-thin at the moment. Estevao, Jamie Gittens and Jesse Derry are not expected to be back in action this season. On the other hand, Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto have missed the last two games with knocks. As […]
Chelsea came out of this matchday with a draw against Liverpool away at Anfield. That is not an excellent result, with Arne Slot’s side struggling as well. But considering how poor the Blues have been lately, they have to take it as a positive. Up next for them is a trip to Wembley to take […]
Under BlueCo, Chelsea have built a reputation for going out and signing the best young talents from around the globe. This strategy has not produced the best results yet though. And there have been suggestions lately that the Blues are ready to make some tweaks, and will look to bring in some ‘ready-made’ players this […]
The season is not over yet. Chelsea still have a lot to play for in the final three games of this season, even though it has at times felt like a lot of the players have mentally checked out already. The same can be said for the supporters as well. The Blues have not won […]
