Chelsea have opened general sale for their pre-season friendly against AC Milan in Jakarta, adding another fixed date to Xabi Alonso’s first summer programme.
The club confirmed tickets are now on general sale for the match at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Saturday, 8 August.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm local time. Chelsea’s update says the fixture forms part of the men’s Asia tour, which follows two scheduled games in Sydney.
The squad will then move through Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia during a busy pre-season block. Chelsea’s official tour page also lists the Jakarta fixture as part of the wider summer schedule.
The club promoted the ticket sale on X, with its official post pointing supporters towards the AC Milan game.
Alonso’s Tour Clock Keeps Tightening
The Jakarta details are now clear. Chelsea face AC Milan on Saturday, 8 August, at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
ReadChelsea previously covered how Alonso’s first pre-season schedule gives Chelsea an early tactical test. The Jakarta sale now gives supporters another fixed point in that plan.
The match also carries historical pull. Chelsea noted that their previous visit to Indonesia came in 2013, when the squad received a huge supporter response.
This meeting has a different sporting edge. AC Milan should offer Alonso a serious late-tour test before Chelsea return to domestic business.
The Premier League opener against Fulham follows on 24 August. That leaves limited room for loose minutes or vague selection calls.
For Chelsea, Jakarta is more than a commercial stop. It is another pressure point in a pre-season built around global reach, squad rhythm and a demanding start under Alonso.
